de Winter 'Rise and Shine' to the Adoptions Matter’s design brief! |
1 Nov 2011 |
The brief: Design a concept for a large shop hoarding in Golden Square Shopping Centre, Warrington for local adoption agency Adoption Matters Northwest to encourage more local people to come forward as prospective adopters coinciding with National Adoption Week, from 30 October to 6 November.
The idea brought to the table, which embroiled fun, the importance of family and the challenge of adoption, was agreed almost instantly and shows real impact when walking through the Centre.
The unique ‘shop front’ was unveiled at the centre this week and was designed to look like a child’s bedroom to bring to life the real issues. The visual campaign was created to help inspire shoppers to think about how they could make a difference
Chief Executive of AMNW, Norman Goodwin explains: “We want more people to think about whether they could make a commitment to change a child’s life, and by launching this visual campaign during National Adoption Week there is no better time for people to think about how they can make a difference.
“We hope that this special ‘store’ will help to raise awareness of the real need to find more prospective adopters around Warrington and further afield.”

de Winter - the natural choice for great design |
26 Sept 2011 |
de Winter Design has generated an appropriately woolly design concept for Welsh office technology leaders, B2 Business Systems to boost the company’s impact at the island’s premier agricultural event, the Anglesey Show.
Dealing with printers and print management services, the de Winter team was challenged to communicate the B2’s key messages underpinned by an agricultural theme tie in with the event.
We added further value by creating a memorable 20 years in business anniversary icon.

To celebrate great ideas, innovation and the completion of the new centre, we designed this wrap to cover the FT and it was handed out at the Celebrate Cheshire event, which included an FT Business Breakfast held at the RIC.
It won huge amounts of recognition throughout the day and generated great impact for our client.
Stuart Williams, de Winter Designer said : "This was instrumental in us achieving real stand out for the centre at an event which had some huge business players attending.
We needed some real creative clout and the wrap was a truly unique piece of work which got everyone talking."

kmcreative helps de Winter PR mix a perfect party cocktail
to celebrate 21 years |
28th September 2010 |

The kmcreative team joined their new colleagues from de Winter PR & Marketing at a party to celebrate de Winter’s 21st anniversary!
The event featured ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent finalists, Barwizards, who entertained hundreds of de Winter and kmcreative clients, staff and media at the elegant Oddfellows venue on Lower Bridge Street, Chester. Cocktails, live music and jaw-dropping flair bartending performances kept the party going through to the early hours.
Renowned globally as the best at what they do, the BarWizards have served everyone from Sean Connery to HRH Queen Elizabeth II, from The Beckhams to Tony Blair and delighted de Winter and kmcreative guests with a mesmerising stage show which saw them flipping, spinning, throwing, catching, shaking and pouring cocktails throughout the evening.
De Winter PR & Marketing was founded by Hems de Winter in 1989 and along with kmcreative, has been based in Fidelity House in Chester for twenty years. The business has successfully grown to become one of the most well respected PR agencies in the region and has recently expanded into offering a bespoke graphic design service, following the acquisition of kmcreative earlier this year.
Hems de Winter said: “We do things differently and our party definitely helped celebrate exactly that. Achieving such a landmark birthday is absolutely amazing and it is testament to our passion and our people. We are all immensely proud and would like to thank everyone who came to celebrate with us.
“It was overwhelming to see so many friendly faces from the past and present and we are all even more pumped up to continue our exciting plans for the future. Having recently acquired kmcreative, we now can offer clients a truly integrated communications approach.”
De Winter offers award-winning media relations consultation to regional and national brands including Trigon Snacks, ACF Car Finance Ltd, Visitchesterandcheshire, Unilever and Adoption Matters.

A new chapter for kmcreative |
27th August 2010 |

We’re over the moon to be able to announce that kmcreative is under new management.
Many of you will know that the two business teams of kmcreative and de Winter PR & Marketing have been operating from the same offices here at Stocks Lane for over 21 years.
During that time, the teams have worked very closely together on a vast range of projects for many clients throughout the UK, combining de Winter’s writing, PR and marketing skills with kmcreative's design and production expertise, producing award winning work that we’re very proud of.
With Kerry’s decision to retire, the owners of de Winter Marketing - Hems de Winter and Kate Cox – have seized the opportunity to take over his business and continue building on the synergies that already exist between the two companies.
In the meantime, it’s very much a case of business as usual, with both businesses continuing to trade under their existing names. kmcreative clients should continue to liaise direct with the kmcreative team – Studio Manager Hazel, Stuart and Rachel – in the usual way.
On behalf of the whole team, thank you for your continued support to both businesses over the years. We’re excited about the opportunities that we can explore as a single team and we look forward to sharing our success with you in the months ahead.

Top design for Xtop Systems |
14th July 2010 |
kmcreative were recently commissioned by a local Web Development Agency to redesign a new logo and website templates for their client Xtop Systems.
We produced several logo options which we presented to Xtop. They wanted to see something with an element of duotone colour scheme and so after some slight tweaking to colour etc a delineative logo was developed. We then extended the logo characteristics and colours through to some website templates which were used to build the CMS site.
Some graphical elements from the main header were introduced to the product images to add some flair and excitement and likewise several rollover icons were developed for the main navigation.
The Xtop Systems website can be view here...
If you need some creative design input into your website design, need a fresh website rebuilding from scratch, or if you're a web developer wanting some design templates working up for a clients website then please contact kmcreative on 01244 320677 or email info@kmcreative.co.uk

Tags Website Redesign |
17th June 2010 |

After creating the new logo for Tags,
kmcreative were briefed to redesign the new Tags Limited website.
Starting from fresh, the site had to form a logical way of displaying the various amounts of tags and printing options available. The final outcome was a Content Management System (CMS) Site which allows Tags to update the site with their own material as they please.
As well as updating text and images, new pages can be added or removed with ease. There is also a download section where users can download the latest offers, news or information from Tags.
